I had a period where I wrote a lot of songs. And you know..when you're young songwriting, you're not quite sure if anything is any good. if anything is worth...pursuing, you know. And so uh, there was one song in particular that I wrote. and I played it for a couple of songwriters that I really respected. And they listened to it. And they said,"oh yeah,it's...it's good!" He said,"A good song will find a good home" And I never forgot that. And the song I'm about to play you I wrote it in 1977. And...it was in 1995 that I got the call from the great Chet Atkins to come and record with him. And I played this song over the phone to him. Thinking...well,I hope you'll like it. And he did,and it ended up on the album. So the song find a good home. Here it is.Dixie McGuire. Thank you ! (Clapping...) Thank you !
