Dream

Our Season专辑

  • 作词 : About Paul
    作曲 : About Paul
    编曲 : About Paul
I had a dream. I somehow qualified to participate in a game where you could see the truth. There seemed to be about 100 other participants besides me. I got off at a strange station and was heading there, but the clouds in the sky looked odd. They seemed to flow in the direction I needed to go, as if a hole to another world had opened up. I had to cross the street, and feeling an urgency to hurry, I started running. Strangely, buses began blocking my path, but I managed to squeeze through. A couple of others behind me also barely made it across.

We ran to see the truth and went down some underground stairs. I followed the person in front of me, and finally, after descending several floors, we reached the place where the truth could be seen. The truth-viewing spot had a small opening at eye level that we had to pass through to see. Each time someone in front of me looked through, a light flashed from the opening. Next to it was a screen displaying my profile. I felt that my presence here was not by chance but by a chosen fate.

Driven by instinct, I climbed up to see the truth without any hesitation, but in that moment, the ticket I was holding fell, and I had to give way to the people behind me. As I let two people go ahead, I came to my senses. Instead of wanting to see the truth, I realized I wanted to see the precious people I had encountered in my life. I sensed that if I saw the truth, I wouldn’t be able to return. So, I pressed the button to go back on the screen and woke up from the dream.

I didn’t see the truth, but I was no longer curious about it.
