[00:09.000]So, Secrets (Cellar Door) is the first song of the album [00:13.000]but coincidentally the first song I recorded as well. [00:17.000]It's the only song I've demoing sounds for and [00:22.000]well, then keeping the demo as the actual foundation. [00:26.000]That usually doesn't happen. [00:35.500]But the song covers two kids who were, neighbors, [00:38.500]and over the course of the song, they both through they owned [00:42.500]a secret they've been hiding and that is they both interact with the dead. [00:48.500]The narrator's the young girl who can bring dead animals back to life. [00:53.000]She's been afraid to show her neighbor, her best friend, [00:55.000]for fear he would reject her. [00:57.000]But she finally gets the courage to show and, [01:00.000]instead of being upset, [01:02.000]he actually asked her to show bring his old bird back to life. [01:06.500]He always, was bothered that he never got to say goodbye, [01:11.500]and so she does, and afterwards he reviews a secret of his own. [01:16.500]So the boy-his name is Kyle-is a descendant of the familyline [01:21.900]that starts with the track, Kin. [01:24.900]Kin is a song on the Roots and it's about a guy who [01:27.900]gets eh, blood transfusion from his strange cousin eh, [01:32.900]that guy's Stone from his own, Severus and Stone. [01:36.100]After their blood mixes, some odd happens and after that, [01:41.900]he can hear his dead relatives all over his house. [01:52.000]This strait passes on to his children and [01:54.950]we hear about that in the song, it's The Crooked Kind. [01:58.000]That's his son, learning to deal with the same issue. [02:01.000]And his little brother has it as well. [02:04.000]And then that person he has his own son, that's Kyle, [02:09.000]and the song Secrets. And yeah, he has an same issue, [02:13.000]and he even goes step further, [02:14.950]he doesn't only hear them, he can see them as well. [02:19.950]But yeah, it's course of Secret is about... [02:22.000]revealing yourself to someone and... [02:25.000]finding calm rather than rejection.
